Introducing Indie Amplified: From Guildford to a Global Audience!
Calling all indie developers! We're giving one independent game the chance to go from the guildford.games Festival floor to a global audience at For One Night Only 2027!
We know it's a challenging time to be making games, particularly for independent developers. Getting your game in front of the right people, making meaningful connections and finding opportunities to stand out can be just as difficult as making the game itself.
That's why, for 2027, we're launching Indie Amplified, a new initiative designed to give independent developers an extra opportunity to get their games seen, celebrated and discovered.
From the Festival Floor to For One Night Only
The guildford.games Festival returns to G Live on Friday 19 February 2027, bringing together thousands of game developers, industry professionals, students and gaming enthusiasts for a day of talks, networking, exhibitions and playable games.
And this year, our indie exhibitors have something extra to get excited about!
Through Indie Amplified, one independent game exhibited at the festival will be selected to receive a FREE showcase slot at For One Night Only (FONO) 2027, the UK games industry showcase celebrating the incredible talent and creativity behind games made in the UK.
It's an opportunity to take your game beyond Guildford and put it in front of a global audience of players, press and industry professionals.
How Does It Work?
1. Secure your exhibitor space
Indie developers interested in exhibiting at the guildford.games Festival can apply for a space by emailing hello@guildford.games. Exhibitor spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so don't hang about!
2. Bring your game to the festival
Showcase your game, meet fellow developers, connect with industry professionals and give attendees the chance to discover what you've been working on.
3. Impress our judges!
A panel of judges will be attending the festival to discover the games on show and select one indie exhibitor for the Indie Amplified opportunity.We'll be revealing our judging panel soon, so keep an eye on our channels for more information!
4. Take your game to FONO 2027!
The selected developer will receive a free showcase slot at For One Night Only 2027, giving their game an opportunity to reach an international audience.
